A program designed to support low-income students in Honolulu received a big boost Tuesday.
The Clarence T.C. Ching Foundation presented a $6 million donation to Punahou School’s PUEO (Partnerships in Unlimited Educational Opportunities) Program.
The program mentors 280 public school students each year in grades 6-12 who don’t have the funds to go to private school.
