Hawaii Five-O’s Chin Ho Kelly got the facts straight about Liliha Bakery’s famed coco puffs.
They do sell 7,000 of the chocolate-filled pastries every day.
The bakery’s signature product was featured in one of the opening scenes of the Oahu-based CBS crime drama Monday night.
The Liliha Bakery logo box was perched atop the hood of a car as Kelly, played by Daniel Dae Kim, explained to Danno, played by Scott Caan, that the pastry puffs filled with chocolate cream with a dab of chantilly frosting were called coco puffs.
“Liliha Bakery sells, like, 7,000 of these a day,” he said.
