From Pacific Business News:
Honolulu’s average gas price for Tuesday was $3.44, up 8 cents from a month ago and up 68 cents from a year ago, according to AAA. The record high for regular unleaded fuel in Honolulu was $3.59 a gallon in September 2005.
In California, gas prices neared record highs. The statewide average for a gallon of unleaded was $3.48, just below the $3.49 record set last May.
What this means is that you can come to Hawaii, volunteer for the luau, and SAVE on gas! Well, if you live in California.
