I just stumbled across this website: http://www.stormpulse.com/
It has really cool map graphics from Google and data feeds from NOAA. A snip is below. Anyway for those of you in the path of a hurricane, this could be useful. Unfortunately, it does not track Pacific hurricanes…yet. I’ve been in contact with the developers and they have told me that tracking for the Pacific will be implemented in the 2009 hurricane season.

Just do a search for the Punahou 84 group and you’ll find us. And don’t worry, it’s free.

A little round about…but if you want video of one of the best high school linebackers: From http://ucla.scout.com/2/789456.html
And Te’o showed why offenses fear him and his defense features him. In just three quarters of work, Te’o had 12 tackles by our count, two passes defensed, one that maybe could have been caught, and another in his chest that should have been caught for a pick six.

OK. I resisted the headline “Sporting in Seattle”. From the Star Bulletin
Punahou broke open a 14-6 game early in the second quarter by scoring 21 unanswered points. Hilliard, Toma and Mark Silverstein each caught touchdown passes in the final 7:30 of the second quarter as the Buffanblu led 35-6 at halftime.
Cougars coach Mark Keel, whose team was making its season debut, said his players had trouble keeping up with Punahou all night long.
“There is definitely a speed difference from game speed to practice speed,” Keel said.
In the second half, Central Kitsap cut the deficit to 35-13 on a 12-yard scoring run by H’Arion Gaulden. But Punahou responded with a 19-yard touchdown run by Stabren Caires late in the third to put the game out of reach.
